Today going through some old files etc I found this tutor from Pete Willsher priced only 10 bob old money. The tuning is for D9th.
Who else has a copy of this tutor?

Roy, do you think it's too late to sue Rotosound under the Trades Descriptions Act?

Although, I must say your post made me come over all nostalgic. There was a time when I thought I was loaded if I had managed to trouser a 10 bob note.

Rotosound was the first pedal steel I bought, it was purchased from McCormacks Music in Glasgow, had to buy it unseen as there was none in stock. It was the biggest lump of :censored:

Have to agree with you there Donny.
Rotosound - or Scrotumsound as they were commonly known, were chronically bad guitars. Mine had metal necks which was horrendous when subjected to temperature change. Such a shame because they sounded quite good. Jimmy Kerr's Springfield was an MSA Legend compared to the Huntley/Dennis reject.

Peter Willsher soon moved on to better guitars. He really is in a bad place health wise now. A great shame because Pete was an awesome steel and lead guitarist. He used to give me recording sessions that he couldn't fit in. One of the good guys in UK steel guitar.
