Why think about getting old, it's not going to stop it. Grab every minute you can and enjoy the life you were so lucky to get. Plus as we are also given the chance to play pedal steel be it with good bad or indifferent talent on this wonderful instrument. As you will have read over the last few days you don't get a second Chance... just saying...
