As for tuning, I have C6 on the rear neck and all these are done on that neck. The front is currently tuned to E13 with a High G# although I rarely use it. As for inspiration I listen to everything I can of that nature. Remember the post "Who needs pedals"? The link was to Doug Jernigan and he opened the 2016 session with this tune. I thought "thats good, must give it a go." Then remember my post "Frustration"? I was looking at Joaquin Murpheys solo for Panhandle Rag which was written in notation. Can't read a damn note so slowed the recording down. In Little Coquette where I finish the piano and the steel comes back in you can hear the first 11 notes of that solo followed by a murphyish little lick and then branch out on my own.

As for "Can't Give You Anything But Love" - Listen to Joaquin Murphey playing it and you will see where the inspiration came from.

And yes I am loving this swing thing.
