Solo playing
Posted: Thu Apr 16, 2015 8:17 pmSo as I try and get my chops together my idea and tuning enable the player to play unaccompanied like a guitar but man it takes some work.
The results are getting there slowly and steadily.
Been learning the basics as I realise every time I try to move forward not knowing where the fretboard layout makes it harder. Thus my time Is Now spent focusing on learning the Ionian scales as s way of memorising the notes.
I can honestly say two things.
12 strings memorisation is hard but rewarding
And now all I have been drilling for the last month was the Ionian scale. So I am so tired of its scaly sound.
Can't wait to convert scales into real music.
Any tips? And how is everyone else doing?
