Tuition required for lap beginner

Hi wife bought me a lap steel for Xmas so trying to locate a tutor in the Lanarkshire area any leads appreciated

Hi, come along to the Scottish Steel Guitar Workshop on the 27th of this month. It's mainly pedals but I started on lap steel over 40 yrs ago. I could certainly give you some starting pointers. Is it a 6 string or 8, what tuning are you using ?
