String Buzz

Postby Jhim » Fri Dec 05, 2014 10:09 pm

Hi,

new to lap steel playing. Very, very new - my guitar arrived yesterday and my bar and picks arrive tomorrow.

Been playing around with an open D tuning and noticed my 2nd string buzzes noticeably at the bridge.

It's a Fender-style bridge.

Sorted.

I loosened the 5th string intonation screw a half turn.

Glad it's sorted. I was going to suggest a tiny drop of oil but I would leave it alone now if it's ok.
