I made my legs for my lap steel out of a 'Castorama' (B&Q) Tripod for a laser level. They are ally with plastic adjuster clips I then made three 'U' sections out of wood, drilled them to take the bolts for the legs, then three ally threaded captive nuts, drilled the bottom of the LS and bolted them on. All in all about two hours of work and very cheap. If I could work out how to put photos on the site of them I would. I'm thick, I know without being told.
