lap steel tuition wanted

ok first post on this forum,
I have been playing guitar for 40 ish years, and a few years ago fell in love with lap steel.
I bought a second hand Anderwood Weissenbourne style just before the good old pandemic and have been trying to learn from youtube and listerning to various Artists.
ok, I think im doing ok, but I know that my technique is letting me down.
so I was after a tutor that lives in the East of England. Im near Colchester Essex but I can travel. Who could look at what im doing and then tell me its rubbish and send me off with various skills to learn !!!!! and obviously be a regular thing.
I have played in bands etc, I play mostly by ear, so I dont want the tutor who sais " go away, learn this bit of music for next time"
thankyou for any advice or point me in the right direction so that I can keep my new years resolution to get better on the lapsteel
