Hey all,

Just seen a Rickenbacker Model 100 1964 up for sale but I'm a bit puzzled by the dating and headstock as most of the Rickenbacker's I've looked at from around that time and similar model 100s have the logo on the side of the guitar rather than headstock and although the paint work looks good not sure it might have been restored?

Any thoughts? Thanks

I don't know too much about vintage Rickenbackers, but has it been re-finished silver over the red that's showing through? That might explain the logo being moved - I see two holes on the side near the knobs (third and last pictures). And that's a lot of money for this model, I'd expect to see a bakelite one for that price; or am I wrong - somebody tell me?

Thanks for your input. You're right! And funnily enough, they raised the price to £1299! Insane!
