Vox MV50 conclusion

My first video produced a good loud sound, but very high treble with the knob at the 11 o'clock position and bass at 3, on hearing this the amp was adjusted, the treble turned right off and the bass moved back to the 11 o clock position.

The guitar being used is one I made myself with seven strings, a scale length of 24 1/2" giving good sustain and a nice tone.

The results of this video fulfils my ambition to have a guitar with the "sound " echoing in the emptiness of my crainuim, and now that I think that's been achieved by using this guitar/amp combination, I can concentrate on playing and try to improve.
Although you may have seen this video in a previous post, here's my explaination on why I focused on Dougie's playing and just listen to the tone from this small amp with an 8" speaker and only using 2 thirds volume!
The results below speak for themselves, I hope you enjoy the sound from this amp and speaker, it's certainly not a back breaker although it could make your eyes water listening to it if I was playing!

Thanks Mick,
At last I have found that " sound " I've been looking for and was fortunate enough to record Duggie playing my guitar through this small amp, now if only I could learn to play like him I would be " complete " !

John, where is your seasonal goodwill ? :P
That converted " Zimmer frame " is a customised non pedal guitar stand with an accessory for holding a " selfie stick ", this can be used to hold one's phone whilst a live recording is in progress, this gadget eliminates the use of members of the fraternity with trembling hands pressing the wrong button or taking snap shots of the floor! :o
The size of hole in the "selfie stick" determines the diameter of the rawlbolt mounted to the pipe clip, a dod 'o tape  holds the stick in place securely and with a few turns to expand or contract the bolt it can be mounted or removed easily, patents have been applied for but the clerks in the office are still rolling about the floor in hysterics.
