thanks for the nice comments henry, im new to this geetar malarky, been playing appx 18 months, just play along to CDs during my lunch break at work... as i said im pretty happy with the way its turned out, especially when i dont have any proper tools, just a blunt chisel, a tennant saw and a few other bits n bobs :) as for no pedals, just looking at a pedal steel confuses me, i dont know how you guys cope all that to think about and still having to find the right note

That sounds GREAT. Would love to see the guitar too as well as T shirt if poss! LOL
It's definitely got that vintage sound you were looking for.

If you build affordable 10 string guitars for under £300 you will wipe the market clean cause no one cares about body shape. More strings means more possibilities. 10 string lapsteel guitars should be the standard if we are going to continue to push the boundaries of the instrument. 8 at least so keep it up. 10 strings however would be ideal.

My two pence.

Nice job, Tel, lovely vintage sound. What's the tuning? I'm building my own 8-string, would appreciate some help there.
