Master PSG ... Do any of us really? Can't remember where I read it but someone said you should always take a thimble along to gigs with your bar and picks. The pupose of the thimble being to carry your ego home at the end of the evening!

Don't know if either of you two have seen the Jackson Slide King lap steel. It uses one lever to change from a 1 chord to a 4 chord using an open E tuning. With the multibender you can split the strings and get a 6th chord etc in other words your two levers would do the same as pedals A and B on pedal steel.

Have a look

Hi Mick
Many thanks for that. Interesting but very expensive.

Sorry. Didn't mean buy one. He was using open E with one lever doing one job only. With open E and the multibender you could get that and more. I should think use of the levers coupled with a couple of slants could provide some interesting stuff.

OK gents,
just thought I would use this thread to ask a question. On your C6 6 string laps, what string sets do you use. I have been using La Bella, but there seems to be a supply issue or if someone is selling a set, they think gold grows on trees.
Regards,
Dave
