Here's That Rainy Day - Lap Steel Version.

Postby mick hearn » Thu Dec 20, 2018 12:23 am

I was following the Lap Steel Lunatics on Facebook and Andy Volk published a Xmas song in D tuning but had dropped the second string a half tone to get a Maj7 chord. I thought I would do the same on the lap steel dropping the C to B in the C6 tuning. It worked so well that I re recorded the song but playing it on my National. Personally I think sounds better and I enjoy playing it more.

I like tha a lot Mick, preferred it to your PSG version, both of which are great. It's also one of my favourite old tunes.
