Here is another one from the NESGF. Inspired by Herby Wallace so there are some nice bar twists in this one.

ShoBud 6139 - Remington Steelmaster - George Boards 8 String - Gretsch Country Gent - National Twin 8 Console x 2 - National New Yorker and a shed full of guitars.

Very well done Mick you put a lot of work into that arrangement, the slants went from one extreme to another and you achieved them all by producing some neat transitions as you moved up and down the board.
Ten thousand years is about right for the time it would take me to get that lot learned, and a swivel fitted to my arm would make it easier to play those extreme slants!
Thanks for playing this tune and showing what can be achieved on a non pedal steel guitar :guitar:
No longer slummin, I’ve got a Mullen and a damn good amp as well,
they’ll be well played, if not played well, seat time alone must tell!

‘More twists than Chubby Checker’
Mick, superb ! Thank you for posting this video.
I was gutted not to have been able to attend NESG annual weekend meet.
I would have loved to see and hear live and up close your amazing technique
and wonderful musicianship.
Thanks again
