Feelings - studio version

Mon Jun 12, 2017 9:55 am

This is my recorded version of Feelings. I played this at the SESGF event yesterday and unbeknown to me my daughter was live streaming it on Facebook. The guitar solo was courtesy of Brent Mason. It sounded so good when I was recording that I went off on an ad lib to try and follow the guitar. I think it worked.

This is one of the best parts of playing with a good band where you are able to feed off other players and an aspect I miss.

Very nice Mick, I really enjoyed the ad libbed section, this tune works great on the steel. Thanks for posting :guitar: :guitar:

Nice job Mick

The ears are getting good. :guitar:

I dig your version of "Can't give you anything but Love" - Very Tom Morrell. Keep it up.

Hi Mick,
The NESGF is on 12th & 13th of August (I think), same format as the Southern Festival. It happens in The Buck Inn in a small village called Thornton Watlass in North Yorkshire, not too far off the A1 North. I expect all accommodation there has been booked by now, but there are other villages nearby where B&B can be found. For more information, contact Forum member Tony Russell Davis, who is the co-organiser.
Regards.
Keith.
