It depends on your scale length.

Pedal steel strings are guitar strings, just in a different packet.

There's a website here

which you can use to calculate your string gauges.

Just type in the material density of your string (7800 Kg/m³), the scale length and the pitch of the string, and aim for somewhere in the region of 13 Kg tension
