just thinking outloud for now?

Fri Apr 05, 2013 8:10 pm

Hi gang, some of you may know I recently bought a 54 FenderD8 deluxe? i've been doing my best to get on with it but more n more I find myself going back to 6 string...I much prefer playing single string Bob Dunn picking style in C6...I also bought, to go with it, a very nice Peavey 50 classic separate top and speaker [4x10] sounds great! the reason i'm writing this is I may be thinking of selling...
A]to get the cash for a nice old Gibson 6 string
B]my backs knackered and its all too heavy

so would any body be interested or should I keep it and persevere? if anybody's interested let me know and i'll get some pics and maybe you can talk me into selling :)
cheers for now Terry

My 10 cents worth..... I think the guy you are looking for is Mr.Percy Vere..... I started out on pedals with an 8 string "Pierce" guitar and got comfortable with it as "The urge" was great........ When Gordon came up with a 10 string ZB student I jumped at it but, it took a long time before I stopped pineing for my 8 string (comfort zone) What I did`ent know at the time was I was going from a Bubble car to a Bentley!! Give it another 12 months intensive effort and I will bet 10 quid you will not want to go backwards...........
