Who is this player from 1965?

Michael Lee Allen just uploaded a bunch of very interesting copies of BMG from the early to middle '60s over on the SGF...

...including a picture which interested me as I have the same steel (a Kay-badged Valco).

Can somebody identify the player? I'm sure he's well known, as he was on the cover of the magazine.

Having searched the web, I found info from James Schmitt and Ken Byng which identifies the player as Kealoha Life (Alfred Hollis-Randall), BMG Hawaiian guitar contributor.
