Gold Tone LS6 / Oahu Tonemaster help

I have just purchased a Gold Tone LS6 which appears to have a non-original scratchplate - it's made out of tortoiseshell and has a smooth outline as opposed to the stepped one. The owner told me it came like that from new but I'm sceptical about that!
I would like to replace it with the original style one but, on contacting Gold Tone, they tell me they don't currently stock these nor do they have access to the templates for them (as I was hoping I could get one custom made).
Are any LS6 / Tonemaster owners here who would be able to remove their scratchplate and send me a tracing of it I could use?
