Hi Ben,
I've been using my Stainless bar for a few months now and there's not a mark in the finish. Glad to see you've joined the Forum and I hope some other Steelies buy your products.

d, but the 1" bar that Ben made me with a non standard length is very well polished and extremely good value for money. I'm impressed.

I am just waiting for Mr Henrique's hi density plastic bars to hit the market in a few days. Certainly Ben's bars are way more competitively priced, but Basil's manufacturing process is far more complex and risky. He is using formaldehyde as a cooling agent, which is identified in the USA as having a carcinogenic risk. Definitely not a substance that you want to have your lungs having prolonged exposure to. Don't forget to wear that mask Baz!!

You're MOST welcome Ben, I wish you all the success with you Stainless Bars, about time we gave the USA a run for their money.. I don't mean to hi-jack the post but I feel I should correct Ken's formaldehyde statement. My fault for not explaining it more clearly to Ken.

Thanks for the 'plug' Ken; Actually formaldehyde gas is produced as a product of machining and is not residual in the finished bars: I used forced air to cool the process.
BTW Pat says the mask stays, it's definitely an improvement. :lol:

Thanks Basil - I must have mis-read your FB post. The manufacturing process makes it very clear why Eric Ebner chose to no longer produce the legendary Tribo-Tone™ tone bars. By the way, I am told that gas masks are a turn on for some women!! :lol:

I will be one of your first customers once the bars are fully in production.
