Soft or polyethylene Case for an MSA XL Classic Single 10 st

Postby Keith Wilson » Sat Oct 04, 2014 6:17 pm

Hi - does anyone have any recommendations for a soft case to carry a single 10 string neck in?

Some of the keyboard players I work with seem to have nice gig bags /cases that could be used but I don't know which ones might fit.

I am wanting to carry the steel guitar legs and bar separately to reduce weight.

The steel's dimensions are:-
90 centimeters
20 centimeters
10 centimeters

Possible bags include the Gator TSA 49 - (interior dimensions 927mm x 317mm x 15mm - bit too wide but the internal dimensions otherwise look a reasonable fit.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a suitable case?

Thanks

Keith, I can't say for sure but you may find it will fit in a Carter Starter bag. I'm sure there are a few of them knocking about. I sold one not long back with a hard and soft case. If you know anyone with a CS I'm sure they will let you try it, maybe even sell it to you.. Dave.
