Ooops! Emergency Transplant Request

I got a phone call lunchtime! One of those Sho-Bud Widgets has snapped can you help. So I have posted this of the somewhat more robust version I churned out in response! I had to make one of these a while back for Roy's guitar when the blasted thing inexplicably fell at my feet I believe it is still in place! When I get some time I'll make a couple to have on hand but they do take a little time as I'm sure you can appreciate. End of saga just thought those using Bud's should be aware in case of emergency! For non Bud users the back one is the Sho-Bud and is cast in what we used to call ' white metal ' which has always been prone to splitting.
(for those with a keen eye, yes, that lever hole has to be drilled out a tad yet! )

Bob - both Bobbe Seymour and James Morehead in the States have quite a stock of these brackets. Definitely a weak link in the later SB models.

Ken I have some of 'James parts' and it is cost effective to have them to hand, the trouble with these particular babies is I wouldn't really want the direct replacement and the consern that what just broke could do it again at any time. the one you see here won't!that's for sure.
I don't see any refernce to them on Bobbe's site, in any even you are then into reasonable parts cost, shipping cost and the delay!

Absolutely agree Bob. Ronnie Bennett may be able to do the job at a realistic rate, unless you have someone closer to hand who can manufacture them.
