Auto Image Resizing

Postby Arcada » Thu Oct 26, 2017 5:06 pm

Images should now auto-resize, as they're uploaded, if they're too large...test here if you like!

Images will be reduced so that the largest side is 1024 pixels.

Acceptable file types are GIF, JPG, PNG & BMP.

Anything above about 8Mb is likely to fail due to timeout uploading or some other limit being reached.

Probably like other members, I use an iPad for quickness and because of this I downloaded a free app named "image compression",this app would probably work with an iPhone as well, the bottom snap shows the icon to look for. :?
The one of my "heart steelin Teddy" :guitar: is a normal photo compressed to 80% the app lets you decide the size of each picture before you save it, it's an easy app to use probable designed for "dummies" (I'm proof of that!).I hope this information is of help to others. Robert

The point is, there's no longer any need to resize an attachment at all before uploading, as resizing is done automatically if you attach an oversized image...
