I have recently swapped from Windows XP to Windows 7, and I find recording on 7 is more difficult than XP, I have to set the recording levels much higher to get an acceptable signal, and I have to use headphones (which can give a false idea of the real sound), as the computer speakers don't seem to like Windows 7, so I uploaded a test piece to picosong to see what it all sounded like in mp3 @ 128.
It's come out better than I expected, so I might try another one, this time on the Marlen
