deleting old in-box posts

My inbox is full. How do I get rid of some to make room?

Hi Nick, do the following 
When looking at your PM list (either inbox or sent folder), tick the ones you want to delete down the right hand side, then in the drop-down below that choose "Delete Marked" then hit [Go]
