Cant seem to find much on Roger other than the sketch he did with George Harrison on the 'Pirate song' but I did like this 2014 article http://www.thedickinsonpress.com/lifest ... ical-stage.

I met up with Roger in Nashville in September last year. We had been emailing each other over many years but very surprisingly we'd never met. We met up for breakfast in a diner close to my hotel, and got on as though we had known each other forever. We also met up at Bobbe Seymour's old store a day later, now owned by Bob Hempker. Our mutual friend, Buck Reid, does a lot of the repairs in Steel Guitars of Nashville, and Buck was in the store when Roger took his Emmons in for a service. The three of us got on really well. Gerry Hogan helped get Roger on the road to pedal steel, and they are still buddies to this day.

Roger married very late in life to Suzie, an American lady, and they live happily in Florida with their dog. He still plays regularly, mainly in theatre shows in the States as he is a really good reader of music. Roger won't mind if I say that his guitar playing is superior to his steel playing, but he a highly competent steeler. To be living the dream as a musician in his 70's in the States is some achievement, and he is still very much in demand over there.
