Although the recent files I posted were for "Educational and Research" purposes, the post has mysteriously disappeared, nonetheless, it is only a continuation of THIS post on the American Steel Guitar Forum.

With what little time I have left on "This Mortal Coil" I intend to broaden my knowledge and also share what I can, to this end I posted the now DELETED post. Note It wasn't deleted on the USA Forum..In fact, the moderator for the relevant section said:-

The a rough translation of the words under the disc numbers are as follows.

1 Hula songs
2 Hawaiian mood
3 Sound of Steel Guitar (Tracks played by 1-10 Boss Miyazaki & Coney Islanders, 11-20 Setsuo Oohashi & Honey Islanders)
4 Style of slack key guitar (Hawaiian slack key players such as Ray Kane, Keora Beemer Ledward Ka'apana)
5 Popular style of Hawaii and sun and beach (Elvis Presley, Perry Como etc.)

PS. No I don't speak/read Japanese but I know a uke playing girl who does.

The steel players on the Elvis tracks have been Identified as Alvino Rey and Freddie Tavares, BUT the Perry Como tracks MAY be Jerry Byrd or who ?
