Okay, I've read it and can recommend it as a further development of this excellent thread

But get the kettle on before you read it, I got through two cups! I've never heard any of the interviewees work, so that's my next mission. One of them gives a great quote from Jerry Byrd;"I've spent a lifetime trying to play as few notes as possible". Distillation, just like a fine single malt! I can dig that.

I've skim read it, looks really interesting. I have Bruce Kaphans CD - Slider which I really like. Different approach and the guy can play some.
