Band In A Box - So Near Perfection!

I have been a BIAB user since its very first introduction, when I was using an Atari ST. I always upgrade to the latest version, and bought the 2014 version on its own dedicated hard drive which has a few advantages. I have to say that over the years Peter Gannon, now aided full time by renowned jazz guitarist brother Oliver, have taken the product to new heights with the introduction of Real Player.

Piecing a decent backing track together with very authentic backing and solos has never been easier. I do have a couple of wishes on a long time wish list for BIAB however. If only there were built-in decent endings, with say, easily adjustable rallentando on some of the ballad settings. As it is, if I want to try to make a quick backing track without have to completely resort to using a sequencer, BIAB can be a life saver but I still have to resort to importing the BIAB track into a sequencer and then arranging an intro and ending via midi keyboards. If only BIAB came with a selection of pickable intros and endings - it would be perfection for me. As it is, it is just oh so close at the moment.

The new user files system gets around that, also you can import midi files, so a midi intro and ending could be imported.
As for rallentando etc. it's just a matter of writing a tempo change in the particular bars:You have the choice of BPM or % change. (Don't forget to write the original tempo at bar 1 otherwise the count will be arseways..)
