When I play my Emmons I usually sit on Bob Haskell's Sho-Bud. - Well, it's got to come in useful for something...
(just wait till he sees this)

We've had threads about seats before; but my (cheap) suggestion is to find an old square bar stool, cut to the height you want - roughly from the floor to back of your knee, sitting down - floor and box it in with thin-ish plywood, leaving a gap at the top of one side for access and there you have a pack-a-seat. :o

You can get fishing seats on a certain auction site for under £50, but I started on a X-type piano seat. Light, cheap and effective at about £25.

I recomend a deluxe model, with slightly thicker padding. Not-so-numb bum!

Jason, please don`t take this the wrong way but if you got the £200+ for a deluxe seat lucky you but in the end all it is just a seat to put your bum on , I use a fishing stool it`s light, height adjustable and loads of draws for all your bits and all I paid was £29 my bum and my wallet our very happy.
