Listen to the feel of this guys. Not only the Steel playing - absolutely everything.
I think Franklin is the one to catch. For me, he's beyond any other player.
P.S. I am aware that there are other great Steel players about - this is just an opinon, don't shoot me down!

He's just awesome isn't he?! Such a talented man.
I grew up around classic rock music in fact and only got into Country in my mid-teens. Watching Paul Franklin with Dire Straits is when I fell in love with PSG.
He is truly amazing on this. Throughout the entire song. But if you skip to 4:05, he really lets loose. Place goes wild!

Together Again with Vince Gill/PF again,but more recent.ie 3 weeks ago. Nice close ups of PF and watch for those bar slants!
