Great Lines

Postby Zumbilly(Murdoch) » Thu Sep 02, 2010 11:42 am

Just for fun....
some of the lyrics in songs are priceless.
Merle Haggard's Misery and Gin.........."Looking at the world thru' the bottom of a glass
Jerry Lee lewis Ca'nt remember the title........She even woke Me up to say goodbye.
Chuck Berry Can't remember the title........For a moment I took a notion and I went into a dacing motion
She nodded Her head ,Mucho Gusto She said
And We danced with more devotion

I bet You all know some..Let's hear them.

Just listen to these guys! and watch Homers guitar work....both fine musicians and so funny..My fav.from them was "Please help me I`m Crawlin" but it has`ent appeared on you tube yet...... and second best I rated was "What have yer done fer me lately" but I can`t find that one either :(

Slim Whitman
'There's a love knot in my lariat'................He should be so lucky as to have one long enought to tie a knot in it.

'I'm looking through the knot hole in grannys' wooden leg'......anon

She was only the welders daughter, but she had acetalene t*ts.........From the album by Pants Pomeroy 'over the garden fence'. I believe this is one of JD's all time favourite albums.

I like Jerry Reed's Dont Think Twice.
" I don't mean to tell you, that you've been unkind.
But you've been wastin' all my Val-u-able time"
