Nice one John. This looks a lot better than the drumming stool I try to perch on! Hopefully Santa is packing mine, together with its optional back rest, at this very moment.

Hope you are feeling better and keeping well. Regards, H. :o

Cheap seat?
No wonder, it's ghastly. It be sent to explore the surface of mars and never bought back!
In my opinion. ;)

Dave Who cares what it looks like i don`t, and as long as it dose the job well, and who can see when your sitting on it and it`s a lot cheaper than a custom made seat, and we aint all able to aford a custom seat like some are,i tried one and it was great very sturdy and very well in the dept for all the bits and bobs we keep in our seats, better IMHO than a lot of custom made seats. But it all boils down to personal taste, and there is nothing wrong with that. :D

Its still ghastly. :)

It should be called curiosity.

Has it got an arm that comes out to pass you the bar after you drop it on the floor, if it has, I'll have one.

I do actually want to see one, It looks like you'll get through about 4 in a lifetime when bits break off.

This thread is keeping me amused anyway, it's not a steel seat, it's a lazy builders toolbox. To keep his tea bags and kettle in.

No Dave I know it`s not a steel seat, and it don`t pick up your bar if you drop it  but better by far than a drum stool, and there are a lot of steel players that use drum stools, and you can pay up to £200 or more for a steel stool, and there are a lot of members that cant afford or want to pay that much for a steel seat, these seats IMHO {for what that is worth} are a great alternative.I`m done.
