I have been told that e bay now deduct 10% on all items sold, is that correct? Looking at their conditions I am reading it that its 10% up to a maximum of £40.00- anyone had experience of high cost item sales on e bay?
Dave.

With regards to VAT, there has been a problem lately, the government introduced an import rate, payable at the "point of entry"..
This has given the ladies of the night some problems. basically they're :censored:

I was under the impression it was 10% up to £40 and then it reduced to a lower percentage to another amount and so on. I thought PayPal operated this way too. But now I'm not sure!

Well the figures I posted do not bear out what E-Bay say..But so far it hasn't appeared to be the case with any sales I've made.
