John
I hope your not going to spoil her good looks and take her out if it rains, did you not have the spare time, or maybe you ran out of Solvol or Mothers for the alloy casings ?
This is what can happen with neglect!

Great looking bike John, my dad would have loved that. He had a lot of classic bikes over the years, his last one from memory was a Triumph 650cc which he built up from parts he gathered from various sources. The frame had been buried in someone's garden and was dug up, my dad restored it to working condition. My mum made him give up the bikes in his mid 50's, was concerned he might injure himself!

Geoff, your Mum was probably right but I am only 77...
Uncle Roy, I had to part with her, it was too far away and too much of a worry.... wish I lived neat the sea.

John, that is a beautiful bike, a real bike, not one that sounds like a demented wasp. back in the sixties I had two British bikes, a BSA and a Norton. did you know that if you drove a British bike that didn't have an oil leek, you could send it back to the factory to have one fitted.
Q. What is red and throbs between your legs
A. A GPO bantam
Just sayin is all
Asleep at the steel

Willie, sorry to disappoint but my Tiger would not dream about spilling even one drop of her life blood!, she has had a recent top end rebuild (and a service to the "Slick Shift" gearbox) by our top man and she has more Grunt than I can manage if I'm honest about it.
Re your question, I have nothing throbbing in the area you mention, and nor in the forseeable future
