All in a Days (or even nights) Work

I got this email .. this evening .. mmm.. (well last night! As it now is!)

Hi, Bob!
I have to tell you a long (probably boring) story. I was born in December of 1953. The following year, my Dad got on a deer hunting lease on a ranch out west of San Antonio, Texas. The nice thing about the lease was, it was year round. We could go up during the summer and shoot squirrels (fried squirrel is delicious, so is squirrel and dumplings!) There was a small lake behind the cabin and I used to fish it. My absolute fondest memories are those made with my Dad on that ranch. Dad took me there a few summers and then, in 1963, I started deer hunting with him there. Old run-down cabin. No electricity. No running water. Outhouse out back. It was heaven! We finally stopped hunting there in the early 1970's. Both of my parents are gone now and, going through some old photos, I found one that I took of the little lake. The lake was formed by an earthen dam across a creek. I stood on the dam and took a photo facing the creek. My parents always liked the photo. Because of the reflection in the water, you could turn the photo upside down and it still looked the same. Well, like I said, the photo is in pretty sad shape. My older sister found the original negative and had another print made, but it's real washed out. I was hoping someone could edit the original photo and make it look nice enough to enlarge and reprint. I would like to frame it and hang it in my little office/music room. Lots of sentimental value. Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated.

The original photo dated Jan '68 was a trainwreck with so many cracks and a white line right down the middle you can't even see on this pic but Hey!
