I could do with a winch these days, for both activities

Winching has a different meaning in Scotland, although the English interpretation also applies to me these days re romantic coupling :lol:

In England, 'Winch' means: apparatus that uses rope or a chain to lift or pull things.

In Scotland, 'Winch' means: kissing with tongues.

"Did ah see ye winchin' wi Kirsty McCullough by the bike sheds?"
