Posted: Fri Jun 28, 2019 6:56 amRon, have met Mike and his lovely wife Joanie a few times at the Dallas Show and along with Mr Blyng sat about six feet away from him while he did a set in the Show Pro room- WOW, the playing and tone were just amazing. Also in band was Joanie on vocals/bass, Hank Singer on fiddle, Jeff Surratt ( builder of Show Pro and top steel player) on guitar, Jim Carter on drums, you can see it on YouTube - Mike Johnson Crazy arms at Dallas Show. Mike and Joanie are two of the nicest most humble people you could ever meet, was fortunate enough to spend a lot of time talking to them. Mr Blyng has met up with them On his trips to Nashville and will tell you what great guys they are. Mike is right at the top of my list of top three players.
