Hallo guys,
We have a similar scenario here in Corfu, the hotel we've played for the last 4 years asked us last year if we were
going to play for the season and we said yes, he then asked if we were going to drop our price (150Euros for about
3hrs playing time !) so I asked why, had they dropped the price of the hotel rooms to which he said no but they had
overheads, I replied so had we, (diesel is 1.56 E a litre here !), we did'nt actually start playing there until mid July
and that was because so many guests complained that there was no live entertainment there !
There is'nt a rats arse in hells chance of making a living playing here, good job I'm a pensioner now  !
Oh, and by the way, I'm a qualified plumbing and heating engineer, was also Corgi registered even though I worked
in the 'Nick and can do what the so-called Greek plumbers can't do, commission oil and gas boilers !
Ah,well, my state pension kicks in ,in July so Fδωψκ working !
All the best from a warm, sunny Corfu
Frank. Corfu :guitar: :guitar: :guitar: :D :D

I heard the Gemans dropped a bomb there during the war and it caused £23 pounds damage and filled in 4 holes in the road
