Must be some truth in the theory that people musically inclined are also artistically inclined.

I'm just 'inclined' Ron... One foot on the pavement and one on the road!

Ha! surprise surprise Danny! you picked the story telling ones.

Young Geraldo was from Madeira and had that good looking swarthy complexion just waiting to be photographed! Hence that story and the sketch.

I did the lifeboat in Oban but I was south for a time some years back and the 'said work' was on sale in Carsons in Lymington for several hundred pounds however when I decided to sojourn back north I brought it back but I did have some quality prints made of it in Highcliiff at the time(our Roy and JP know these areas well) I think I still have at least one of those, the original however, disappeared at the hands of one of our dealers up here in the city who moved premises a time back and claimed it had mysteriously vanished in the move so if you ever see it do let me know as kneecaps come to mind!

Bob, what have we unleashed, a myriad of talent. Ron, I can assure you, there is no connection between musical inclination and artistic talent as far as I'm concerned, the only thing I can paint is the loaby, perhaps the cludgie. I don't think I'm musically inclined either which negates my whole point. I'm going for a pint Southern Comfort shandy.

Ref, Jim's Leopard chase!

I found that 'real life' sequence Jim,

The quality is not perfect as it suddenly all kicked off at my side, I'm on a 'moving' Land Rover with a heavy lens trying to balance myself as well as the camera!

Serengeti 10 years ago (seems like yesterday!)

Well as some of the folks here have been showing their artistic skills to the fore, I thought I would dust off my watercolours . Here is a portrait of my good lady wife that I produced this afternoon. She is amazed at the authenticity and the detail that I have captured.

I had a PM from a friend on here who said my painting reminded him of the Moaner Lisa.
