I just have to agree with you all. What a shock when I watched the CMA Awards and Megan Traynor was singing "All about the bass". How long has that been country.
It is all about the money and not the music. If the bands are not bringing in the dollars then the producers do not want to know.
You cant fool the fans forever - look at all the fuss at the moment about lip sync and using auto tune. The fans of all types of music are getting wise. I know I have used the steel in other music but I have never said it was country. Bring back the good stuff.
Is this the demise of country music today?
