Steel Players IQ

This is where you can rest a while and discuss anything - doesn't have to be steel guitar related!

Well I think I am particularly gifted...... not with playing talent you understand... but I have some good friends,,,,, if I want my Fender sorted out I have got Electric Les around the corner, if I want someone to programme my Blackberry there is Will, or if I want to know what chord it is there`s Basil, or if I wanna borrow a quid there`s Bob Adams ,,,, so what I am trying to say is, you don`t have to be all that bright ....just try to be pleasant and the rest seems to fall into place.....so an IQ of 7 seems fine to me....... :(

I'd really love to continue, but must desist..Pat and I are playing at the Tate Gallery on Wednesday evening and have to sort out our programme. 2 hours of Hawaiian Steel instrumental music interspersed with Polynesian, Tahitian, Samoan and Maori trad tunes. Not easily done..
I'll take up the reins again after Wednesday's over. It's in conjunction with an exhibition of Polynesian art by Gauguin.
