Wow! That's low Ken. I've heard Geoff doing impressions of the Queen Mary leaving the Clyde, that's the pedal he must've been employing.
I got the guitar supplied with the Franklin, but with my inexperience, I never figured out a use for it. So, after reading an article where Mike Sigler said that his 'Sigler' pedal meant that he didn't need to cart a double neck around, adding that it covered his C6 needs, I thought, that's for me. Bob did an incredible job of converting the Franklin to Sigler, but, to be honest, Ive never used it much. I worked a wee arrangement out for St. James Infirmary, that I later subsequently worked out just by lowering my E's

I cant compete with the C6 and Uni lowness but I have got a low E which goes to C# when I raise the other E's. My old 10 string used to have low B down to A on the C pedal which was useful.

Right Calum, so your 12string starting point is an octave lower than the normal 8th string on at 10 string E9, got it. I wonder where you could get to with that 14 stringer, that I noticed you oggling

Danny, having listened to Mike Sigler at Dallas show, and having him show me a few things on that pedal, I fitted it to MSA, it does give some nice C6ish effects, but me using it and Mike using it is two different things. I tend not to use it a lot, as I can get a lot of it with the E lower and B&C pedals, does no harm as a nice ornament though, and was fun to fit with Mitchell Smithey’s detailed instruction.

Changing the E9 to C6 brought to mind an article by Winnie Winston.
The gist of it was, we know pedals A and B give us an A6 tuning, however we can also view the tuning as a D6 tuning; all the notes are there.
D (9th string)
F# (7th string)
A (6th with pedal B)
B (5th string)
E (4th string)
And if you have a knee lever to to raise your E to F, and a knee lever to lower you 2nd string to D and you 9th to C#. Something to think about!
