RONNIE BENNETT

Postby Noelpsg » Fri Jan 30, 2015 12:12 pm

Hi everyone,
Has anyone seen or heard anything of Ron Bennett (Bennett Steel Guitars) since Christmas?
He told me he was spending the holiday in Inverness Scotland but would be back at home on 5th January.
I've telephoned several times "every day" since then and also sent emails but haven't had any response from either.
I only have his home telephone number and Bennett Steels email address, does anyone have any other contact details please?
Thanks for any help,
Concerned, Noel

Noel, Ronnie is in the process of moving up to inverness that is probably why you cannot get him at this time .... I am sure he will get back to you...

Ok thanks John, its just that he asked me to phone him the week after new year and after having no success I'm getting a little worried.
Regards,

I've recently become the owner of one of Mr Bennett's guitars and would love to speak to him about its original setup.

Did anyone ever come across new contact details for him?

Ade, I will pm some contact detail when I get home, though I don't think he will remember a guitar, he certainly could not remember the beauty I just aquired and that was built as a C6th.

Last Time I spoke to Ronnie he said his email address was the same as before, I am not aware that he has changed it. PM me if you want his phone number.....

I'm sorry to bump this thread, but I've recently acquired one of Ronnie Bennetts' pedal steels. I'd like to : A) Pass on my thanks for making such an awesome instrument, and B) ask if he still makes parts to repair an older steel I'm selling. I don't know the appropriate way to ask his business contact details,(I don't message on forums often, so excuse if I'm clumsy with the etiquette) but if anyone could PM it to me , I'd greatly appreciate it.Thanks

Hello,

I'm also looking for up-to-date contact details for Ronnie if anyone has them. I have two of his lovely steels but both could use a going over.

It would also be great to know anyone who does steel maintenance in the UK. Pref South East! Any recommendations??

OR if anyone can recommend any good books or videos so that I can start to learn myself then that would also be handy!

Thanks!!
