How about this for a crackin' little steel amp. £5 for the amp from a car boot sale, (Backstage Plus with 10" speaker not working,) 7p for Diode to fix it. MDF offcuts from work to build a new cabinet (free,) £1 for carpet offcut to cover it, £5 second hand Eminence 15" speaker including grill & clamps. and the glue I got from work. So a total of £11:07p. I have replaced the chips with OPA2134 which I already had and included an FX loop and extension speaker socket on the back.
I've already done a small club gig with it along with my Digitech RP150 without even mic'ing up. It's only 35 watts but it's a great little amp.
