Poor JD Christmas Fund

Postby Uncle Roy » Sun Dec 25, 2011 12:47 am

Just think of our poor old JD this Christmas, all he can afford is a dried up piece of cake. I am starting a fund up so we can get the poor old bugger a turkey   Merry Christmas JD.

Come now Uncle Roy, what JD needs is a woman like Syl or Babs, then he could have fresh cake. But then he wouldn't have so many steel guitars.

JD you must have a gigantic turkey  One hour cooking per kilo turkey is what mum taught me. That makes around 115 kilos if it's ready on Thursday :D
Bon Apetit.

I was trying to get a flying haggis up the jacksie today but it is gale force up here and though the bridges are closed to all commercial traffic I heard a folk of haggis was likely to get through! However by the time I got to me feet and fired off the two barrels they were offskie! :( Ah well, next year!

Whilst sorting through personal effects I found about 17,000 Drachmas which I will gladly contribute to the
JD slush ,oops, sorry , Xmas cake, turkey ,pudding fund !!  but he'll have to wait until we get back, he
could rename it as the JD Easter egg fund as the turkeys and things will have dried up by then !!
All the best, Lin and Frank. Corfu 8-) 8-)
