This is exactly how I feel about the universal tuning (except with the bonus of having the 4 main C6 pedals too!). Sadly, my D10 is now living in it's case...
It is a shame that steel guitars are so rare and expensive in general, as I would love to hear what you could do on a universal. Your lap steel playing is very impressive!
