This is where you can rest a while and discuss anything - doesn't have to be steel guitar related!

Blue blue day for John Davis

Happy 4,000th
Congratulations on your 4,000th post John, they are mostly posts of a serious nature or when selling guitars, but some have a humorous caption inserted, usually after a serenade from " bum notes inc " .
When I saw the number 3999 I thought it was your age until I realised my silly mistake, even you can not be that old !
Keep up the good work supplying quality instruments and related goods, have us laughing at your comments and humorous remarks, but mostly keep playing those " bum notes " :P  :guitar: :guitar:
The " blue badge " number you now have, gives you the right to park your personage anywhere on this site, as you usually do, but now without the fear of being penalised by Marc or anyone else !
P. S.
Have the BBC contacted you about appearing in the next edition of "Blue planet live?
As you must count as a rare and endangered species with 4,000 posts !
No longer slummin, I’ve got a Mullen and a damn good amp as well,
they’ll be well played, if not played well, seat time alone must tell!

John
Never let it be said that your pearls of wisdom are not worth listening to, and we can never have to much of your charm. :o :P
I do not know of any other members who have made such a large contribution to this site and I thought your endeavours should be duly recognised for the time you devote to helping others with the challenges of steel guitar.
Due to the high cost of postal charges I won't send you a teabag and a bit of cake, but the thought was there , so keep talking and posting your videos ! :guitar: :guitar:
