Anyone live in or near Dorchester

Postby bazzrd9th » Thu Apr 14, 2011 12:33 am

Hi Guys
Anyone live in or near Dorchester could pick a guitar up for me ?
I've bought a Hofner from a guy and he has no Idea how to pack it or send it to me !!!!!!! It would be really appreciated if anyone could pick it up from this numpty , carton it up and send it on to me. I would of course pay all costs and expenses and be eternally grateful.
Cheers

Yo John
Give Thomas Hardy a ring....he runs a club in Casterbridge...mind you don't give the guitar to him....he auctioned his wife and baby off...........
Seriously, can anyone even pick the guitar up and hold it for me til I can get it picked up ?
Cheers

Thanks for your kind comment, only too pleased to help an "OLD boy" out  .
Your vintage 'Hofner' :guitar: is now safely with me and will soon be on its way to you.
Can't understand why the person (numpty) could not send it to you, when he opened the door he was in uniform....
He is a POSTMAN!!! :o ...

regards Jim.

Hi Jim
Marvellous news.
Yes I didn't realise he was a postie until he rang to confirm payement......I couldn't believe he didn't know how to send a parcel...Ah well, 'and some are scattered on stony ground'.
Thanks again...It's a relief to get the instrument out of his hands...he might have just stuck a stamp on it and tried to get it into a letterbox !!!!!
I'm hoping to call in at Leominster on Sunday evening if that's ok Jim. I'll ring tomorrow.
Cheers again

Hi Jim
Again, thanks for all your help re the Hofner guitar. It's much appreciated. It saved me a lot of potential angst.
Thanks again
Cheers
