A fellow muso ? Drummer is promoting a short tour which He will be doing with a little known duo next year.
He has designed a poster,and in order to make them look good He has mentioned their numerous acheivments in their home country.
He has also mentioned that He,himself was on a European tour which had...........and then He goes on to name just about every country star who ever came across the pond.
The poster is full of poor grammer and bad spelling .
It is quite laughable to think that Joe public will be impressed by the fact that He was on the same tour as all the USA stars of the day,He does not actually say that He played on the tour.
If anyone wants a ticket they can contact Me but be quick,they are going fast.
Will people really be impressed if I tell them I was on the same show as ....Big name,even though I was in the first band of the show when there wer about half a dozen people in the audience.
I was in Austin last week and Willie Nelson spoke to Me.. He said "get out of My way dude"

Rule 7 (b) subsection iii of the Guide To Writing A Good Band/Musician Biog (which I should compile one day)... if you can't say "has played with", then don't say anything at all...
"Has opened for..." "Has supported..." Nooooooo...
The only things worse is the deceptive fudge: "Has appeared alongside...."

I've appeared on the TV loads of time.. every time pat plays a DVD of one of the conventions we attended.. 
"Played on the TV", (used it as a stool when my Pack-a-Seat broke..)
Similarly with "Played on the Radio"
